Hardee's Introduces New Blueberry Biscuit to Satisfy Early Morning Sweet Tooth of Any Guest
Jul 16, 2007
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – July 16, 2007 – Hardee's® signature Made From Scratch Biscuits are about to get a whole lot sweeter, thanks to a new decadent breakfast product sure to please that early morning sweet tooth – the new Blueberry Biscuits. Blueberry Biscuits are made by taking a freshly-baked Made From Scratch buttermilk Biscuit, filling it with warm blueberry topping, and then drizzling it with sweet vanilla icing.
"Made-From-Scratch Biscuits from Hardee's really began the quality trend on fast-food breakfast menus way back in the late 1970's," said Brad Haley, Hardee's executive vice president of marketing. "So, the only way to top them was to, literally, top them … with blueberries in blueberry syrup and white icing."
The new Blueberry Biscuit will be sold at participating Hardee's restaurants in packages of one, two or six for $.99, $1.59 or $3.59, respectively. Prices may vary.
