I started as a General Manager at the Union, Missouri location. While there, this location became a training restaurant and operated at a very high volume. After being a GM, I was promoted to District Manager. This was an exciting time for my family and I, as I just finished completing my college education. Thanks to the help of Hardee's ® tuition reimbursement program, I received my Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Early in my career as a District Manager, my district was ranked number seven in the company. This was a great accomplishment and it was because of the great General Managers I was blessed to have on my team. During my tenure in the position, I had the privilege of spending a week in California with an awesome training team which resulted in bringing the Red Burrito concept back to Hardee's. ® As I think about my time as a District Manager, I recall having had the opportunity to manage over 25 store locations and help coach just as many General Managers. Being in the restaurant business is always exciting. Everyday there is a new challenge with a reward at the end. Thanks to everyone who has helped me on this journey.

My name is Caroline Watson and at the age of 18, I started a wonderful career with Hardee's. ® I started my employment as a cashier and on this faithful journey I worked my way up to General Manager. After beginning my educational experience in landscaping, I realized my passion was in Restaurant Management, where I have been for the last 21 years. During my successful career with Hardee's ® I have grown into a person who is patient and more considerate of others. With the guidance of my District Manager, who has encouraged me to be all that I can be, I have been given the knowledge and strength to become a great leader and an asset to the company.

I started working part time to make extra money, decided I liked the business and was asked if I wanted to go into the Management Program. I became a General Manager Trainee and was then promoted to District Manager and then to a Region Leader. A position became available in Human Resources. I interviewed and got the job!

I began my career with Hardee's ® in 1983 as a cashier while attending college. After graduating from college I decided to pursue a career in the Hardee's ® Management Program. I was promoted to Intern Manager and then promoted to Assistant Manager. My dream came true of being promoted to General Manager in the same restaurant where I began my career as a cashier. Today my restaurant is a training restaurant and I am proud to be part of the Hardee's ® family.
