Stars for Heroes Campaign: Carl's Jr.® and Hardee's® Unite to Support Military Families in 14th Annual Fundraising Drive
The six-week campaign promotes community support by inviting guests to donate $1 at the register
FRANKLIN, Tenn., May 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Carl's Jr. ® and Hardee's ®, proudly announces the kickoff of its 14th annual Stars for Heroes™ fundraising campaign — a six-week national initiative committed to uplifting the lives of active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their families in need. The campaign will run from May 26 through July 4 at participating Carl's Jr. and Hardee's franchise and company restaurants nationwide. Since its inception, the Stars for Heroes campaign has raised more than $12 million, directly impacting thousands of military families across the nation through essential support services by USA Cares and other local charities.
During this period, guests can donate $1 or more at the register, with all proceeds benefiting USA Cares and various other local charities selected by individual franchisees. USA Cares is a nonprofit focused on providing veterans and their families with financial assistance and skill training for future stability.
"We are honored to continue our commitment to supporting veterans through the Stars for Heroes campaign," said Jennifer Tate, chief marketing officer at CKE Restaurants. "Veterans are an important part of our community at Carl's Jr. and Hardee's, and this initiative is a wonderful opportunity for our guests to come together and make a difference in the lives of those who have served our country."
The Stars for Heroes campaign has become a cherished tradition for CKE Restaurants, exemplifying the company's commitment to giving back to the community. Throughout the duration of the campaign, participating restaurants will actively engage guests at the register, supporting USA Cares in providing resources such as emergency financial assistance, housing aid, and family support for veterans in crisis.
"Our partnership with Carl's Jr. and Hardee's helps us deliver critical support to military families when they need it most," said Matt Castor, President & CEO of USA Cares. "These donations make a meaningful difference in improving the lives of veterans and their families."
The annual Stars for Heroes campaign is made possible by the Star Franchise Association and Independent Hardee's Franchise Association. In addition to the national beneficiary, the Star Franchise Association and Independent Hardee's® Franchise Association have provided considerable support for local charities throughout the communities that Carl's Jr. and Hardee's serve.
